Consumption of Aspirin Every Day Bleeding Risk in Women

The habit of taking aspirin for women seems to be a catastrophe. The reason, a new study found that aspirin is consumed by women over 45 years the risk of causing a number of diseases.

FoxNews reported on Saturday (12/06/2014) aspirin is not only risky but also lead to heart failure and cancer in a recent study mentioned could increase the risk of stomach bleeding.

The study involved 28,000 women aged 45 years and older were randomly given 100 milligrams of aspirin and placebo every day. Having examined 10 years, they saw an association of aspirin with chronic disease risk.

"The results showed that compared with placebo, aspirin increases risk of colon cancer, heart disease and stroke and serious bleeding in women," the report said.

Interestingly, the researchers actually do not see the development of disease risk to the age group of 65 years, according to the Journal of Heart. Therefore, the researchers do not recommend restriction of aspirin in the age group of 65 years because of the risk of disease is also reduced.
